So Miley Cyrus has teamed up with Mac to release a Viva Glam Lipstick and Lipglass. I bought the Viva Glam Lipstick whilst in New York and I think it is available to buy in the UK this month. The one thing I love about this is the packaging, I have never owned a Viva Glam Mac lipstick before so it’s a nice change to see the regular black bullet spiced up a bit with pink and of course Miley Cyrus’ signature.
The shade is described as Hot Pink and it is very much so, it does however look a lot brighter in the bullet that it does on the lips, on the lips it is a beautiful dark pink shade.Viva Glam Miley is an amplified creme formulation that is hydrating and smooth to apply, it gives great colour pay off and becomes opaque after one application, I would say it lasts for around 5 hours of wear then fading into a dark pink stain on the lips.
I think Mac and Miley have done a great job in creating this lipstick. Not only does the whole £15 of the lipstick go to the Mac’s HIV charity which is amazing, It also has the fun appeal that Miley is all about but it is still subtle enough that you are able to wear it without looking like you are off to an 80’s disco.
