September Wishlist

September wishlist 

 Putting together this months wishlist has gotten me so excited for Autumn/Winter. I can’t wait to start wearing dark lips, scarfs and coats again, I for one am definitely a winter person. My September wishlist includes more fashion items than normally as I want to update my wardrobe for the new season, and I am starting to buy little bits for my trip to New York in January (SOO excited!) 

 

In terms of fashion items I’ve been lusting after this imitation leather skirt from H&M, I think when paired with tights and boots it’ll be a staple in the winter months. Next I’ve been trying to find the perfect beige/nude coat, I want something like the one pictured above but I don’t want to pay an arm and leg for it. I think coats like this are so timeless and go with pretty much ever outfit, I particularly think it’ll look beatiful when worn with this tartan scarf from River Island that I’ve been lusting after. Last but not least I’ve been looking to get a plain crisp white shirt, just to wear tucked into skirts or with black jeans. I think even though it’s so simple it’s a really put together look that looks smart but casual. If you know of anywhere that does any nice reasonable priced ones please let me know. 

 

Onto the beauty items on my wishlist this month. Mac released their long awaited Simpsons collection at the beginning of the month, and being the huge Simpsons fan that I am I want everything! I really want to get my hands on the blush in Pink Sprinkles in particular though. As pautumn winter is just around the corner I’ve been slowly starting to incorporate darker lips and different eye looks into my make up. The three main things I’m wanting to get for the new season is firstly an old favourite foundation of mine, Mac Studio Fix Fluid. I wore this foundation every day last winter and I honestly don’t know why I didn’t repurchase it. Next is the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette. I’ve never really seen the big deal with this palette compared to the other naked ones and I do think it’s a lot of money for just six eyeshadows, but I like to wear more matte eyeshadows in the colder month and I think this has every basic matte you’d need. Lastly I couldn’t not include a lipstick. I really want a new staple winter lipstick, and I think Mac’s Russian Red is the one that I’ve decided on. it’s a matte deep red and it’s definitely the next thing I’m going to buy.

July Wishlist

Black Ripped Skinny Jeans
I’ve been looking for the perfect pair of black ripped skinnies for ages now but I can never seem to find a pair I like in my size, anyone got any recommendations for some nice ones?
Z Palette
I’ve for around 12 small palettes with eyeshadows and blushes in them that just take up too much room so I’m thinking of getting a large Z Palette so I can have them all in one place. I feel like I’ll reach for them more if I do this too.
TheBalm Mary Loumanzier
I’ve been loving highlighters lately but only own one powder highlighter and have heard amazing things about TheBalms Mary Loumanizer so it’s definitely on the top of my to buy list.
TheBalm Frat Boy Blusher
Another Balm product, I’m surprised I’ve never bought anything from this brand as I’m loving the look of all their products. The second product I want to get my hands on is their Frat Boy blush. I actually seen this being used I. A YouTube tutorial and it gives the most gorgeous natural flush to the cheeks.
Fujifilm Instax Mini Polaroid Camera
I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a Polaroid camera for a while now, I think it would be so cute to capture special moments and have the pictures to keep, especially as all my pictures are taking on my iPhone these days.
Mac Cool Eyeshadow Palette
Mac recently came out with two ready made eyeshadow palettes in warm and cool shades and I am dying to try the cool palette. They retail for £65 which is a huge saving compared to buying individual eyeshadows.
Elf Shadow & Liner Stick In Midnight Blue – This product was used during a tutorial at the Elf blogger fair I attended and I couldn’t get over how simple it was to use, the end result was beautiful too. For £3 you can’t go wrong!
A Pug Top
I’ve been looking for a pug t shirt like this for ages now, this one was only a fiver on bank but it’s sold out :(. I have an on growing for pugs and need a top like this in my life.

10 Facts About Me:
1) What motivated you to start blogging?
I’d been reading blogs for a few years and always loved the thought of writing about my favourite beauty and make up products. Then after picking up a whole lot of new make up one afternoon and having no one to express my excitement to I decided to start a blog to write about it all. Unfortunately this post is no longer as I started on blogger and decided to change to wordpress a few weeks later.

2) What are your goals for your blog?
Of course I want my blog to be successful and get a lot of views but I didn’t start blogging for that reason and if I had the same amount of followers in 3 years time I would still carry on and be happy. My blog is a place where I can write down my views on my favourite products etc and I get a lot of joy from doing it.

3) What are my all-time favourite beauty products?
Definitely my Urban Decay Naked Palettes and Mac’s Pro Longwear Foudnation. Both are my holy grail make up items and I use them pretty much every day.

4) What is your favourite makeup brand?
In terms of high end definitely Mac but unfortunately I can’t afford to be shopping there every week. For drug store I’m going to say Rimmel as I’m a huge fan of their foundations.

5) Top 5 products on your wish list:
The number one product on my wishlist and has been for years is Nars Laguna Bronzer. I hear so many things about the bronzer and I’m dying to try it! The other four products on my wishlist are Mac’s Pro Longwear Concelear, Nars Sheer Glow, Mac Rebel and Nars Albatross

6) What’s one beauty tip you swear by?
Contouring. It completes your face, makes your cheekbones look more defined and warms your face up.

7) What are some ways you stay or gain confidence?
Hmmm. This is a tough one for me as I’m not the most confident person but I’m going to say putting on make up as it really does give me the most confidence out of everything. I can wake up in the morning feeling really shitty about myself, put on make up and then feel a lot better.

8) What is your favourite piece of clothing you own?
This is a tough one. Probably a green blazer that I recently got as it looks amazing paired with pretty much anything.

9) If you had the opportunity to do anything in your past again what would it be?
Suck things up and get on with them, especially from the age of 11-15, I wasted those years of my life and I regret it so much.

10) Describe your pet and if you don’t have one what would you like to get?
I am obsessed with pugs! As soon as I move out I already know I’m going to get a pug named sniffles. Yes, sniffles.

Hello World Of Blogging!

Welcome! This is my first blog post and to say I’m nervous about posting this would be an understatement. I’ve been meaning to get around to creating a place where I can share my thoughts on beauty and fashion for a while now, so I thought what better time to do it than on one of the most boring Saturdays I’ve ever experienced?

Seeing as this is my very first post I guess I should tell you what you should be expecting from this blog and when I’ll be posting. I am aiming to get a new post up once a week, (eeeek I may be setting myself up to fail here!) with the content being mainly based around make up, beauty and the occasional fashion post. You’ll have to bare with the low quality images for my first handful of posts too as I currently don’t own a professional camera, therefore the images will be taken from my IPhone, but hey we all have to start somewhere right? 

So this is me signing out on my first official blog post, i can’t wait to start the journey!
