A Day In London

I’ve been wanting to do some more lifestyle posts along side my usual make up posts for a while now, and I thought this would be a great way to start.
Whilst in London I visited the Ripleys museum which is home to all things weird and unusal, as you can see from the pictures they had wa figures of the worlds tallest man and the worlds fattest woman. They also had an electric chair simulator there which shows a figure being electrocute, very scary, and a mirror maze. After this I visited China Town and Lester Square for the first time which was amazing! Then I went on to Covent Garden which is one of my favourite places, the Christmas decorations were up too which made it look even prettier. Whilst there i couldn’t resist the amazing Mac shop that is in Covent Garden, and I FINALLY picked up Rebel lipstick which is SO SO amazing! Keep your eyes peeled for a post on it next week.
Where is your favourite place in London?

Mac & Chanel Haul

Last week I went to London & Birmingham, whilst there I took full advantage of the shops amd picked up a few bits and bobs.

I ventured into Chanel for the first time in my life in Covent Garden, and to my surprise they were actually really friendly and were joking around with me about my strong a Welsh accent. I ended up picking up a full size of the Le Volume De Channel, I got a sample size of this and fell in love as it made my short lashes (because of getting lash extensions a few months ago 😦 ) bold and the longest I’ve ever seen them, so even though £25 seems a lot for a mascara it was totally worth it!

After spending around half hour drooling over the stuff in Chanel I rushed over to the Mac shop (I only had 20 minutes until my coach came) and asked them what foundation they recommend for dry skin, I’ve tried studio fix fluid before and even though I loved it, my skin has since gotten drier and it tends to stick to my dry spots now. The Mac lady suggested I try the Mineralize Moisture Foundation in Nc15 (I usually get nc20 so another new for me) she quickly tested it against my skin and it matched perfectly! So obviously I had to get! >

I also decided to pick up a Mac Lipstick in Creme Cup whilst in Selfridges in Birmingham after hearing so many good things about it. It’s a huge change for me as I’m usually a bold lip gal but I’m excited to try it out (expect a blogpost on it soon!)
