Nars Nail Polish – Galathèe & Orgasm

I’ve had these two beauty’s of nail polishes in my collection for a few months now and I’ve never actually used them until now. Upon painting my nails with Galathèe, (a dove grey with a hint of blue from the fall 2013 collection) I thought it would look lovely with another Nars polish I have in Orgasm, a sheer peachy pink with gold shimmer (very similar to the blush of the same name).

Application:
The application of these nail polishes are super easy and both shades dry really quick. With orgasm you need around 3/4 coats for it to look even remotely opaque but I like the sheerness to it so it’s fine with me. Galathèe is a lot more opaque and I only needed 2 coats to achieve a perfect result.

Lasting power:
I’ve had both nail polishes on my nails for around three days now and there’s only slight chips in Galathèe and none in Orgasm.

Final Verdict:
7/10. I love both of these shades and how easy the application is but I still find it very expensive (£14.50) for a nail polish and you can find close dupes out there.

1. Bourjois Bronzing Primer – As you all know I’m dying to get my hands on the Chanel Tan De Soleil but I can’t afford to fork out over £30 on a bronzer, so when I heard that this is a cheaper alternative I of course immediately checked it out and bookmarked it to buy when I next get paid.

2. Oasis Leather Slipper – I seen these shoes on Tanya Burr’s get ready with me, I think they’d be perfect for the summer. I love slipper type shoes as they can be casual yet smart and the clean white colour of these ones will go with everything!

3. Nars Sheer Glow – I’m constantly on the look out for new foundations to try out, and this month Nars Sheer Glow is on my radar, I think this foundation will look beautiful on the skin in the summer and the light coverage will give a natural yet polished look.

4. Forever 21 Ring Stack – I’m a big fan of ring stacks lately and when I seen these ones on the Forever 21 website last week I fell in love, I love all things elephants so I need to get my hands on these!

5. Nars Albatross Highlighter – I’ve recently gotten back into highlighters and every time I see this product being used in a YouTube video I fall in love, £21 though! 😦

6. Black High Waisted Skinny Jeans – I think everyone needs a pair of high waisted jeans in their wardrobe, I really want to get a pair of black ones so that I can wear crop tops with them in the summer.
